For $11 the chicken katsu meal with miso soup is amazing, HUGE portion size! Miso soup not too salty like some others. Will have leftovers to take to work for lunch ;) Will be a repeat customer from here on out. ”

“ This place should get more attention. The prices are very good the portion size is Absolutely huge and the service is lightening fast. But again price this is their 15 dollar combo for lunch. That's crazy. At time of writing (winter 2025) I don't think I've gotten as much variety or amount of food for that amount. The sushi is big but we'll proportioned with a big chunk of fish to the big chunk of rice. The chicken karage was perfectly crispy and the side salad was well a salad. Good cabbage with a tangy dressing. You also get the option of water or Miso soup. The obvious choice is miso and it's good. The seating is around the food court and while busy you can usually find Youself a table. Absolutely awesome. ”

“ This place has insane portions. I remember eating the pork katsu here when it used to be served on a plate and they would give a big cutlet, it was cheap and was a big portion. It’s been several years since I last visited and I believe the owners have changed since then. To my surprise, the portion has more than doubled from what I remember… It took me 3 days to finish all the pork katsu! And for only $11? That’s a huge steal!! Still lives up to the expectations. ”

“ Huge portions! The cashier lady seems pretty welcoming and well mannered. I was wondering why she gaved me a bag to bring the food home and now I understand why. Tried this place for the very first time and really glad I did. I think the owner wants to serve customers that cater to a tight budget, much respect for them. 15$ meal. The sushi is pretty good, lots of rice. The chicken strip katsu taste like it's mostly batter and not much meat but i'm not complaining. ”

“ One of my go-to places at First Markham food court. Pictured is Chicken Korea which has good portions of rice, chicken and cooked bean sprouts with miso soup, always satifying. If you're extra hungry then get the combo with tempura (I'm practically bursting after that one). Cash only and tax included, overall great value. ”

“ Come here for the most affordable and large portions of Chicken/ Pork Katsu on rice! They’re crispy and portion sizes are huge. Recently, they went from $10/ meal to $9/meal. Also, the service has always so sweet and kind! The quantity and quality’s there, you can’t go wrong with this order. ”
